The Konrad Saleen team took pole position for the FIA GT Championship race at Brno in the Czech Republic, with driver Jean-Marc Gounon outpacing the Lister Storm of Jamie Campbell-Walter by 0.283s

Qualifying: Saleen fastest

The Lister had led the way for much of the first qualifying session, before Gounon's late charge dropped it to second. Championship leaders Thomas Biagi and Matteo Bobbi claimed third on the grid in their Ferrari 550 Maranello, despite running with a maximum 100kg of success ballast.

The second Ferrari 550, co-driven by Luca Cappellari and Fabrizio Gollin was fourth quickest, ahead of Jean-Denis Deletraz and Andrea Piccini in the second Lister Storm.

In the N-GT class, Stephane Ortelli and Marc Lieb set the fastest time in their Porsche 996 GT3-RS, ahead of the Ferrari 360 Modena of Andrea Bertolini and Fabrizio de Simone.
