Walter Lechner Jr put in an early flying lap in Konrad Motorsport's Saleen S7-R to claim pole position for Sunday's FIA GT race at Anderstorp in Sweden

Qualifying: Konrad Saleen on pole

Lechner set his pole time on the second lap of the first qualifying session, and no one else in the field was able to come close. Tommy Erdos was the nearest challenger in Graham Nash Motorsport's similar Saleen, but he was still 0.858s short.

Thomas Biagi and Matteo Bobbi set the third fastest time in their BMS Scuderia Italia Ferrari 550 Maranello. The two Lister Storms were next, with Andrea Piccini beating off the challenge of Jamie Campbell-Walter.

Tim Sugden and Emmanuel Collard claimed pole in the N-GT class in their EMKA Racing Porsche, outpacing JMB Racing's Ferrari 360 Modena by 0.116s. The Freisinger Porsche was third in class.
