Le Mans - how to get there

From Calais, follow the A16, the N1, then the A28 towards Rouen. Choose the A138 after passing Rouen, heading in the direction of Alencon. Follow the 'Rocade' ring-road South in the direction of Tours, and thereafter follow signs for '24 Hours'.
From Caen, Join the N158 southbound, the join the N138 just before Alencon. From then on, continue as above.

From Le Havre, follow the A29 to Lisieux, then the D579 in the direction of Alencon. After joining the N138 before Alencon follow instructions as with Calais and Caen.

From Dieppe, join the N27 towards Rouen. At Rouen, follow the N138 and follow instructions as with Calais.

From Paris, leave the Peripherique at Porte d'Orleans. Follow signs for Bordeaux and Nantes on the A6, then join the A11 signposted 'Le Mans'. Follow the 'Rocade' ring-road South in the direction of Tours, and thereafter follow signs for '24 Hours'.

Eurostar trains from London Waterloo and Ashford International for Paris Gare du Nord. From Paris, SNCF run trains from the Gare Montparnasse hourly to Le Mans. There are also direct trains from Lille to Le Mans.
