An end-of-season GP3 Series test with the race-winning Arden Motorsport squad will be awarded to this year's BRDC Formula 4 champion.
Arden has run the last two GP3 champions, Mitch Evans and now-Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula 1 driver Daniil Kvyat, and finished second in the teams' standings in both seasons.
"With the BRDC F4 championship clearly being the most competitive junior single-seater championship in the UK, its 2014 champion is inevitably going to be a great talent," said Arden sporting director Julian Rouse.
"We're very interested to see how they perform in our car and the official Abu Dhabi test will give us the ideal opportunity to do this."
Palmer believes the link between the two series could lead drivers to graduating directly to the F1 feeder series from F4.
"The 2014 champion is bound to be an exceptional talent and I'm confident he will quickly adapt to the 450bhp GP3 car," he said.
"The Abu Dhabi test will be a great opportunity for our winner to showcase his ability and GP3 could well be an option for 2015."
