Wilson Leads RuSPORT Front Row
Briton Justin Wilson took the first pole position of his two-year Champ Car career, leading teammate A.J. Allmendinger to cement an all-RuSPORT front row for tomorrow's race at Portland International Raceway
Wilson, who yesterday was on his first ever provisional pole, maintained his position today, despite setting a fastest lap that was three tenths slower than his best lap yesterday. But he remained the fastest man, in a field where several other drivers were unable to better their own times as well.
Behind the two RuSPORT drivers sits Forsythe's Paul Tracy, with Alex Tagliani and Sebasian Bourdais completing the top five.
Among the rookie drivers, Mi-Jack Conquest's Andrew Ranger set the best result, the Canadian starting tomorrow's race in seventh position.
