Tracy talks up Nazareth chances
Paul Tracy is bullish about his chances of retaining his CART series lead, despite falling slightly off the pace in the last two races
"I'm not over-confident, but I've got to say I like the way things are going for Team KOOL Green at the moment," said the Canadian.
"Life is good when you're leading the championship after four rounds, starting fourth this week at Nazareth, and heading into Milwaukee (next week) as the defending race winner."
Tracy's early season lead came about not through spectacular progress, but steady pit work and driving. Tracy believes this approach will pay dividends later in the season.
"We got where we are today by keeping it simple. And we'll just stick to our basic plan, which is to make the most of our opportunities and minimise our mistakes," he said.
"It's no secret I've run as well as anybody at Nazareth over the years and we'll be looking to score some big points there this Saturday. We qualified well last month (fourth) and we have a good race set-up, so it's just a matter of running a smart race."
