Tracy Leads after Cleveland Win

Paul Tracy became the first multiple winner of the 2005 Champ Car season at Cleveland on Sunday, taking over the series lead from reigning Champion Sebastien Bourdais in the process

Tracy looked in command in the early stages but lost the lead to Cristiano da Matta at the first pit stop exchange. When the Brazilian's hopes of a second successive victory were ruined by a collision with the lapped car of Marcus Marshall, Tracy was in the box seat and duly romped home to his 30th career triumph.

AJ Allmendinger bounced back from a nasty qualifying crash to finish second for RuSPORT, while Newman/Haas Racing's Oriol Servia chased him home in third - thus ensuring a carbon copy of the podium from Milwaukee.

Alex Tagliani came home fourth for Team Australia ahead of a slightly off-form Bourdais, who lost out badly at a late restart, and da Matta's PKV Racing teammate Jimmy Vasser.
