Team Japan to Miss Estoril Race

A1 Team Japan will miss this weekend's round of the series at the Estoril circuit, organisers announced on Friday

The Japanese squad, lying in 13th place with six points after the first two events, will skip this weekend's race "due to prior commitments made before joining the World Cup of Motorsport".

There will still be 24 teams, however, as Team Russia will return to action after having missed the second round in Germany.
