Mark Taylor followed up his Thruxton victory by taking pole for the next round of the British Formula Ford Championship at Knockhill

The Mackie Motorsport driver took his privateer Mygale to the top spot, just 0.053s ahead of works Haywood Mygale runner Anthony Davidson.

The leading works Van Diemens make up row two, Robert Dahlgren ahead of triple race winner and series leader James Courtney.

Marino Franchitti, younger brother of CART star Dario, continued his impressive start to the season by qualifying fifth on home ground.
