Sports Reports wins Autosport show PR deal

Sports Reports, the Hampshire sports agency, has won the consumer PR contract for the 2004 Autosport International, Europe's biggest motorsport show which will be held over January 8-11 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. The agency, which has handled the show's trade PR for Haymarket Exhibitions for the past three years, has added two account executives and a second office to undertake the consumer campaign. Rosalind Nott and Emma Spearing will direct the account

Commenting on the appointment, Nolan O'Connor of Haymarket Exhibitions said: "In the past we have employed two agencies specialising in trade and consumer, but it made logical sense to give the whole account to one agency. Sports Reports has increased the footfall for trade year on year and, with the additional manpower, we are delighted to be able to offer them the consumer account with which I am sure they will be just as successful."

Autosport International, owned by Haymarket Exhibitions, is a vital part of the motorsport calendar and one of the most influential motorsport exhibitions in the world. Over £400m worth of business is expected be influenced by visitors to the show next January.
