Rob Bell joins Tafel for Sebring
British sportscar racer Rob Bell will make his American Le Mans Series debut in the Sebring 12 Hours this season, sharing a GT2 Ferrari 430 with Dirk Muller and Dominik Farnbacher
Bell, who won the LMS GT2 title in a Virgo Motorsport 430 last season, will join Tafel Racing for the event in March.
He said: "Racing at Sebring ticks another of my 'must do' boxes. It will be a tough race against some world class teams and drivers, one of my greatest challenges yet.
"The team are in slightly unknown territory with the Ferrari, but they have a good knowledge of ALMS and what it takes to win. The key will be to stay consistent and stay out of trouble, if we can do that I think we have a chance of winning."
Tafel's technical director Tony Dowe added: "It makes the challenge a bit easier when you can work with such good drivers. It's always difficult to find ones with the speed and experience for races such as Sebring but the guys we have are right on top of their games."
The 56th running of the Sebring 12 Hours takes place from March 12-15.
