The International Superstars Series has revealed the majority of its 2013 schedule, with its Italian presence being scaled back to just three of the eight rounds

Only three Italian tracks named on 2013 Superstars calendar

They will be the season-opening event at Monza on April 7, the penultimate round at Imola on September 29, and the final race of the season at a yet-to-be disclosed Italian venue on October 13.

Donington Park is the only existing non-Italian venue that remains on the calendar, the British circuit scheduled to host its round on September 1.

Brno will kick off the run of new circuits on May 19, the Czech track holding the second round of the season.

A date at the Slovakia Ring completes an eastern European double while Zolder replaces Spa as the Belgian round.

The Algarve circuit will host its first Superstars event in two years on July 21, after which comes the summer break.

The GT Sprint series will support the Superstars at each of the eight rounds.

2013 Superstars schedule:

April 7 Monza (I) May 19 Brno (CZ) June 9 Slovakia Ring (SK) June 23 Zolder (B) July 21 Algarve (P) September 1 Donington Park (GB) September 29 Imola (I) October 13 TBA
