NASCAR star Kyle Busch joins 2017 Race of Champions line-up

Last year's NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Kyle Busch will join brother Kurt in the 2017 Race of Champions line-up

The event is making its first appearance in the United States next year, taking place in Marlins Park stadium in Miami on January 21-22.

The Busch brothers will pair up as Team USA NASCAR for the Nations Cup element on the Saturday.

"I love to race anything I can, so I'm really excited to be heading to Miami and getting behind the wheel of some different types of vehicles in order to compete against the best guys in the world," said Kyle Busch, who came back from an early-season leg break to win the 2015 Cup title and was one of the final four contenders for this year's crown too.

The siblings are part of a substantial USA contingent for the RoC's debut in the country.

Indianapolis 500 winners and Andretti Autosport IndyCar team-mates Alexander Rossi and Ryan Hunter-Reay, ex-Formula 1 driver turned double Global Rallycross champion Scott Speed and former motocross star turned multiple American rally champion Travis Pastrana will also compete.

Past IndyCar champions Tony Kanaan and Juan Pablo Montoya are among the other contenders from the Americas.

This year's F1 field is so far represented by Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa and Jenson Button.
