Muller signs up for Race of Champions
Yvan Muller will return to the Race of Champions again this year to lead the French team in China next month
The reigning World Touring Car champion went out in the first round of both the individual competition and the Nations' Cup last year, losing to Sebastien Loeb and Tom Kristensen.
Muller is a former winner of the Nations' Cup though, with Regis Laconi and Gilles Panizzi back in 2000.
"It is going to be a great experience to compete in China," said Muller. "I have raced in the Race of Champions many times and it's always a lot of fun with the crowd so close to the action. The Bird's Nest is a fantastic stadium and I'm told the circuit is faster and longer than before, so I am looking forward to it."
Muller's team-mate in the French line-up is yet to be announced, but Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button, Andy Priaulx, Mikko Hirvonen, Kristensen, Mattias Ekstrom, Jamie Whincup and Mick Doohan have already signed up for the event.
