"I've been working and talking about this for a long time. I wanted to look beyond my driving years and set up a future for myself staying involved in auto racing. When this opportunity with Barry came up I just jumped at it. I'm just so excited to be a part of this team. It's been a great two years that I've been here and I have to say it's the best team I've ever driven for. I'm glad to be a part of it now for many more years to come. Kim and Kevin are awesome - they know what they're doing and they're the best at what they do. So I'm really looking forward to it."



"At this point we really don't know. It's going to be totally up to our sponsors and our partners. We just wanted to get this done and now we'll start working on the sponsorship side of it. They're going to be the ones that dictate where we go. There is definitely at this point no decision one way or the other, contrary to what you hear."



"Nobody says I'm leaving CART, though I almost did two years ago. I'm going to go where it's best not just for myself, but for 80 other people. So we have to make sure we have a good firm future for these people. It's going to be totally a business decision."



"Honda is very aggressive. But having said that, we've been in real strong talks with the other manufacturers as well, including GM, who would really like to be associated with us. We have nothing done now on that side."



"I'd still like to drive next year, but at this point, we don't have anything solid. It'll come down to sponsors, but I'd like to drive next year. I would definitely like to do Indianapolis. As you know, that's a race that I still very much want. But we don't have any iron-clad plans yet."



"I hope they'll be a part of the team. I have the utmost respect for those guys. I think they're the two best guys out there and I know they are tough competitors. I know how fast they are and I would love to keep them involved with this team as it goes forward. It comes down to securing a sponsor that will allow us to do that. We've already talked to them a little bit and said that we would very much like to have them involved with us. But we have to get our sponsor committed before we can commit to our drivers."



"I think CART at the moment is in a very important time. It's a critical time and the jury is out on whether it will be positive or negative. We have to wait and see. I think Chris Pook has been working on a lot of very positive things and we have to wait and see how they play out. My heart is with CART. I love the series and I love the format. But is it too late? I can't answer that. I don't have a crystal ball."
