Malaysian Grand Prix fantasy update
What a weekend Malaysia turned out to be! In the searing heat of Sepang we witnessed the youngest ever pole sitter followed by pandemonium in Turn Two and a race dominated by the F1 young guns.
Renault star Fernando Alonso headed the drivers points table this weekend thanks to his pole position and an impressive podium finish. The young Spaniard and team-mate Jarno Trulli's great performances meant Renault also excelled, tying with Ferrari on top of both the Chassis and Engine tables for the race.
Kimi Raikkonen claimed his inaugural win in Sepang placing him second in this weekend's Fantasy drivers points behind Alonso. The combination of Kimi's race and DC's qualifying performance was enough to secure top slot in the overall season figures for Mercedes as the best engine closely followed by Renault and Ferrari.
Team .Warnies Speeders, edged to victory at the Malaysian Fantasy Grand Prix with the combination of Alonso, a Renault engine and a Renault Chassis. Scoring 431 .Warnies Speeders won by the narrow margin of just 3 points and walks away with an exclusive Montoya signed 1:18scale Williams model.
