Malaysia plans GP concert
Malaysian Grand Prix organisers have confirmed plans for a major rock concert to take place after this year's race, which is scheduled for March 20, in a bid to try and boost spectator attendance at the event

The Sepang owners have been given the green light by FIA race director Charlie Whiting for the erection of a concert stage between Turns 10 and 11 of the track - providing that extra safety barriers are erected.
Whiting visited the track on Monday for a preliminary track inspection to ensure the facilities were up to the required standard for F1, especially following some resurfacing work to the asphalt.
Sepang's general manager Ahmad Mustafa said: "The concert is one of the new things that we are introducing for this year's event. It is free for all GP ticket holders and will start immediately after the podium ceremony."
It is hoped by the track bosses that the concert, which is set to feature both international and local artists, will help lift race attendance to around 120,000 spectators this year.
