Magazine: F1's chaotic Tuscan GP and Le Mans 24 Hours

Formula 1's first race at Mugello was an eventful one and we assess who did what during the multi-car accidents that required two red flags.

Valtteri Bottas once again narrowly missed out on victory but, as Alex Kalinauckas's report shows, there is a good chance Lewis Hamilton would have defeated his Mercedes team-mate even without the stoppages.

The six-time champion is now 55 points clear in the title race and a win next time out in Russia would put him on a par with Michael Schumacher's record of 91 F1 successes.

Before that, the world's biggest endurance race will take place at Le Mans. The event is three months later than usual, but we have still produced our usual 52-page free supplement.

Gary Watkins asks whether privateer Rebellion can topple the mighty Toyota team at the front, and argues that Aston Martin is well-placed to take its first GTE Pro victory in the 24 Hours since 2017.
