Kral wins IFM race two in Germany
Josef Kral scored his second International Formula Master victory of the season at Oschersleben on Sunday morning
The 19-year-old Czech driver made a flying start from third on the grid and overtook his JD Motorsport team-mate Vladimir Arabadzhiev into the first corner to gain a lead he would never surrender.
Arabadzhiev couldn't hold onto Kral, who slipped away to take a comfortable win, but remained second throughout the race to complete a 1-2 for the team.
Pal Varhaug jumped Simon Trummer at the start to claim the final place on the podium, while Sergei Afanasiev later deposed Trummer from fourth. Trummer and Erik Janis completed the top six.
Newly-crowned champion Fabio Leimer had a race to forget, losing his front wing in contact at the tight first chicane on lap one. He had to pit for a new nose and eventually finished as the last car running in 11th place.
