HVM Sign Bremer
Keith Wiggins, team boss of HVM, has signed Ronnie Bremer to compete in this year's Champ Car series
Bremer joins the team from the feeder Toyota Atlantic series, where he scored a win and five podium finishes in 2004, his rookie year. He has also driven in British Formula Three and Formula Ford, along with Touring Car racing in his native Copenhagen.
"This is a dream come true," he said at the announcement. "Champ Car has been a goal of mine since I started racing, and I can't wait to get started in Long Beach. I had a very good test with HVM in Sebring. I was impressed with their teamwork and their communication between cars. The engineering staff is top-notch and I knew this was the team I wanted to drive for."
"I may be a rookie this season, but I am not new to Champ Car -coming from Atlantic I know many of the tracks. I believe my teammate and I will push each other, I am confidant we will be a strong combination."
Bremer joins Swede Bjorn Wirdheim, who signed with the team last week.
