HVM Join Forces with Comedian
The HVM racing team are set to enjoy an increased profile in the Champ Car paddock next season thanks to a new partnership with American comedian and film star Cedric the Entertainer
The deal begins at the start of next season and should help HVM find a secure financial footing, following the sponsorship troubles that have forced the team to make three driver changes this year.
Team boss Keith Wiggins, who will rename the team CTE Racing, said: "This is a hugely exciting new venture and a great business platform for both parties.
"This is the right timing and right partner to take the company to the next level and opens up a host of opportunities in many directions. Cedric is a very popular and likeable guy and we all feel confident in achieving stimulating goals."
Cedric the Entertainer added: "I am really excited about mixing my celebrity status with the thrilling world of Champ Car auto racing. CTE Racing is going to kick some ass in a way that is fun, exciting and extremely fast - so watch out."
