Formula 2 gets late grid boost as Samuele Buttarelli, Kevin Mirocha and Jose Luis Abadin sign up
Samuele Buttarelli, Kevin Mirocha and Jose Luis Abadin have all made last-minute entries into the Formula 2 Championship ahead of this weekend's Silverstone season-opener

Italian driver Buttarelli, 19, is the highest-profile of the trio, having won twice on his way to eighth spot in Auto GP last year. However, he has not taken part in any of the pre-season tests in 2012.
Mirocha, 20, failed to score a point in a partial GP2 campaign with Ocean last year, but has previously been a race winner in Formula Renault NEC and a podium finisher in German Formula 3 and has also tested an F2 machine in the past.
Abadin, meanwhile, returns to F2 after half a season in last year's series. The 25-year-old Spaniard finished 22nd in the championship, scoring a point at Brands Hatch.
All three will be on-track when Silverstone practice begins on Friday morning.
