Ferrari confesses to Michelin F1 accusation
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro technical director Ross Brawn has admitted that it was the Italian team that alerted the FIA to the alleged ineligibility of Michelin F1 front tyres [Sep 3]. "We told the FIA at the end of the Hungarian GP that their treads were too wide," Brawn told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport. "We're not going to accept losing this way any more. It gives a better balance to the front of the car when braking because of weight distribution."
