Check out the Austrian GP fantasy results

It may have taken three attempts for the real race to get underway at the A1-Ring but the Fantasy Grand Prix offered another round of fascinating results

Michael Schumacher extended his lead of the Fantasy Grand Prix drivers' table against all odds. His mechanics tried to burn him with exploding fuel vapour and drown him in extinguisher fluid, but he just wiped his visor and swept out of his flaming pit to victory before claiming the fastest lap.

While Michael playing 'Mr Cool', the real 'Iceman', Kimi Raikkonen put in a great performance over the weekend. He earned himself 128 Fantasy points from qualifying second and then his race performance although he did slip back 86 points from Michael overall.

This weekend was a disappointing round for Renault which has proven such a lucrative investment for many team managers. However this should not spell a wholesale transfer of Renault stock, as they are still third overall in the Chassis and fourth in the Engine categories.

As expected Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes nailed the top spots in the Chassis and Engine tables at the A1-Ring, but it was BAR-Honda who were the surprise performers, claiming third place in the Chassis and Engine categories thanks to Jenson Button's great fourth place.

There was a three-way tie for the top step of the Austrian podium but YOUNG GUNS take the trophy with a team of Jenson Button and Justin Wilson driving Ferrari-powered Jaguars on Bridgestone tyres.

The manager of team YOUNG GUNS and three friends will now be able to enjoy a day out karting with Club 100, who operate the UK's best 'arrive and drive' kart racing championship. These powerful 100cc two-stroke karts are capable of an incredible 5-60mph in under five seconds with a top speed of 75mph.
