CART motorport business forum in Denver

America's CART sanctioning body has cooperated with US investment bank Bear Stearns to arrange a Motorsport Business-to-Business Forum this Thursday during the Shell Grand Prix of Denver meeting. It is a concerted effort to help teams 'educate' prospective sponsors. The forum will be themed 'Generating Revenue through Motorsports'. The forum has been designed to provide investors and businesses with a thorough understanding of the financial opportunities that exist in ChampCar racing. The featured speakers will include Chris Pook, president and CEO of CART, Ed Sachs, executive VP of sales and marketing at Pioneer Electronics USA, and Bob Graham, manager of motorsports sponsorships at Shell Oil Products. In addition to the forum, attendees will have visit the CART garage area for a behind-the-scenes look at the FedEx series.
