Button to open show

BAR star Jenson Button will officially open the AUTOSPORT International 2004 motorsport show to the public on Saturday January 10

Button to open show

The Briton will take time out from his Formula 1 winter testing duties to open the show, held at the NEC in Birmingham, at 9am, while also launching the new BAR Pure Racing fan club.

BAR will also be showing their motorhome at the event, which those who sign up to the new fan club will be given a unique opportunity. The team's 2003 challenger will also be on show, as part of AUTOSPORT International's F1 grid.

"I have been to AUTOSPORT International before and could see why so many fans like it - there is a lot to see," said Button. "I'll be coming up the day before testing kicks off again, so it'll be good to meet everyone and help the team start the year by giving something back to the fans. The 2004 season is going to be very interesting and the show is going to be a good way to get it started!"

You can book your tickets for AUTOSPORT International in advance by calling the ticket hotline on 0870 902 0444 or by booking on line at www.autosport-international.com. Adults and children can visit both the show and the British Eurosport Live Action Arena at a cost of £17 for children under the age of 16 and £24 for adults. Entry for the show only is £14 for adults and a special price for children at just £7.
