British Grand Prix review issue of Autosport magazine hits the shelves

Our Grand Prix Editor Alex Kalinauckas outlines the key events that led to the incredible closing laps at Silverstone, and explains how Hamilton was able to come out on top, despite essentially finishing on three wheels.

Our Formula 1 analysis also includes the latest technical changes Red Bull and Ferrari brought to their machines, ratings for the drivers, leading stories, and all the important data and statistics from the event.

As ever, we also picked out the important storylines from the supporting Formula 2 and F3 races, as well as the other major international events.

It was a bumper weekend of racing action in the UK, with the British Touring Car Championship finally getting under way at Donington Park.

Marcus Simmons, who covered the BTCC during its Super Touring heyday in the 1990s, returned to the paddock to witness Dan Cammish, Colin Turkington and Ash Sutton win the races, with Sutton's Laser Tools Racing Infiniti showing it could be a real threat to reigning champion Turkington's West Surrey Racing BMW in 2020.

There was some fine battling in the support races too, with Group National Editor Stephen Lickorish on hand to bring you all the key moments and news from the paddock in our Club Autosport section.

The British GT Championship also kicked off, this time at Oulton Park, and produced sensation as McLaren squad Jenson Team Rocket RJN, co-owned by 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button, scored victory on its series debut. All the support races, led by the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship, are also covered.
