The Italian had a trouble-free run from pole position, recording a comfortable lights-to-flag win in the Ferrari Moscow entry.

Championship leader Bjorn Grossman (Ferrari Moscow) was second, but he had to work a lot harder than his team-mate.

Starting from fourth, the German found himself in third place by the end of the first lap. But nabbing second from Max Blancardi (Motor Malucelli) wasn't quite as easy. It wasn't until just six of the 30 minutes were remaining that Grossman was able to sneak past, forcing Blancardi to settle for third place.

Stefano Gai (Ferrari Moscow) finished fourth, albeit a long way behind the leading trio. He was ahead of Flavio Pierleoni (Motor Malucelli) and Lorenzo Case (Motor Piacenza).

Dario Caso (CDP) and Robert Pergl (Scuderia Praha) were seventh and eighth, while front-row starter Alexander Skryabin (Ferrari Moscow) had a shocking race, filtering down through the field to ninth. Jan Danis (Scuderia Praha) finished 10th, some 35s behind the winner.

In the Coppa Shell race, Alexey Basov (Ferrari Moscow) won from Renato di Amato (CDP) and Giacomo Stratta (Forza Service).
