Autosport is the UK's must-read motorsport magazine! It is revered by fans and industry personnel alike as the ultimate source of motorsport news and analysis.

There’s little doubt that Ferrari was the on-track disaster story of F1 in 2020. From being Mercedes’ main rival and winning three races in 2019, the famous Italian team slumped to sixth in the constructors’ championship.

The reasons for that are well known but fixing them is rather more difficult. As Alex Kalinauckas explains, though, Mattia Binotto seems confident that the key issues have been solved.

Ferrari won’t defeat Mercedes this season but, if it can recover to third in the constructors’ table while focusing on the new regulations due to arrive in 2022, it should give Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr and the Tifosi some reasons to be cheerful.

Former Ferrari and Red Bull engineer Rodi Basso also gives his views on what has gone wrong at the team and what needs to happen for it to return to its glory days.

Probably even more exciting for enthusiasts is that Ferrari is returning to the top class at Le Mans. Gary Watkins explains how it finally came about and why the news is such a boost for sportscar racing as it enters a new era.

We also celebrate 40 years of a successful British team that has launched the careers of many stars. West Surrey Racing was a top F3 squad before its recent success in the British Touring Car Championship, and founder Dick Bennetts picks out some of the highlights with Marcus Simmons.

Both Formula E and the World Rally Championship had key events last weekend. Matt Kew was on hand in Saudi Arabia to witness a dramatic opening 2021 event for the all-electric series, while Nick Garton reports on how Hyundai star Ott Tanak took victory on the WRC’s first visit to the Arctic Rally.

Mental health has become even more significant during the coronavirus lockdown and Ginetta racer Andrew Cohen-Wray tells Stephen Lickorish how he is using competition to raise awareness – and hopefully act as an inspiration.
