Autosport Awards: International Racing Driver of the Year vote open
International Racing Driver of the Year presented by Pirelli is the latest 2018 Autosport Awards category to open for voting

Autosport Plus subscribers and Autosport magazine readers decide who wins the annual Awards, with the victors announced at an event in London on Sunday December 2.
Formula 1 title rivals Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel are unsurprisingly on the shortlist for the International Award.
A win for Hamilton would be his sixth, while Vettel has claimed it on four previous occasions.
Mexican Grand Prix winner Max Verstappen is also a contender, thanks to his surge in the second half of the season after a messy start.

Fernando Alonso, the 2006 Award winner, may not have got anywhere near the F1 podium this year but he makes the shortlist by virtue of his performances in adversity for McLaren and his sportscar exploits - including winning the Le Mans 24 Hours with Toyota.
Non-F1 opposition comes from the Formula E and IndyCar champions, both of whose triumphs could be considered underdog successes.
Ganassi star Scott Dixon defeated the bigger line-ups from Penske and Andretti to claim his fifth IndyCar crown, while Jean-Eric Vergne took the independent Techeetah team to FE glory in a field increasingly packed with manufacturer entries.
