ARCA back at Lowe's in 22-race calendar

The 2004 ARCA RE/MAX stock car race series, in its 52nd season, will feature 22 events across 12 American states. The newly announced calendar moves two dates from Atlanta to Lowe's Motor Speedway, NC, as the series commences a realignment programme into new markets in additional geographical areas. ARCA will return to Gateway International Raceway and a second race has been added in Kentucky

"We're looking forward to returning to Gateway," said ARCA president Ron Drager. "St Louis is a very important market. Along with our presence at superspeedways in Kentucky and Kansas, we feel good about our exposure in this very important region for our fans and sponsors.

"We've also been able to maintain our balance of superspeedway and short track venues, as well as our one-mile dirt state fairgrounds events, all of which are very important to our identity and industry position."
