Yoshimoto Frustrated by Problems

The problems destroyed any chance of a strong performance for the Japanese driver.
Yoshimoto, one of the stars of the Magny-Cours rounds after running a mature race to hold on to second place despite pressure from championship leader Heikki Kovalainen, was unable to show his abilities again after a string of problems plagued his team at the British track.
The team were unable to work out an effective set-up for their drivers, and a lowly 17th spot on the grid was scant reward for their efforts.
Despite driving strongly in race one, Yoshimoto was unable to get into the points, and then his engine failed again on the warm-up lap in race two.
It was a repeat of his Monaco experiences, a point not lost on Yoshimoto: "We've been to six events - eleven races - and the only time we didn't have any problems was Magny-Cours.
"This is more than disappointing - we were not in a good grid position, but even if we could have raced, especially with the race today [Sunday], you never know where you're going to finish. I think we had a pretty good chance of being in the top six, but if you don't race..."
Despite the numerous disappointments, Yoshimoto has been even tempered after a very tough season.
"Yeah, I have to be positive so that whenever we don't have a problem I can get a result - we can't just sit here and do nothing and get pissed off, or we won't get anything out of this," he said.
"Things happen - what can you do? You just have to be positive and concentrate on the next race - what else can you do? I've been telling myself this ever since Imola. We've had a lot of problems, and I was hoping we were at the end of them now, but we weren't. But this is not going to happen at every race.
"Of course we have to improve the set up of the car for the race, so if we had done the race, even if we had started from the back, we could have got data, and that's the most important thing for us at the moment because we haven't got it.
"We don't have the data, and that's what we need. And we need to race."
