Racing Engineering keeps '10 line-up

Racing Engineering will retain GP2 race-winners Dani Clos and Christian Vietoris for the 2011 season, although Vietoris will sit out in the Asia series in favour of Formula Renault 3.5 frontrunner Nathanael Berthon

This year will be Clos' third with Racing Engineering. The 21-year-old Spaniard took his maiden GP2 win in Turkey last year on his way to fourth in the championship. He is confident he can mount a title challenge in 2011.

"It's incredible that at this time people keep backing me and give me their confidence to do another GP2 season with a team like this," said Clos.

"I'm proud to be here again with Racing Engineering and with them I want to make our dream come true and win the championship. It's a key moment for me and my career and to have the support I've got is really nice."

Vietoris, who was ninth in the championship last year and won at Monza, is also eyeing the title this season.

"We are a well attuned team and meet all requirements to fight for the championship," he said.

"We were able to show what a strong pairing we were last season and therefore the objective for 2011 has to be the championship title."

Berthon's Asia series campaign will be the 21-year-old Frenchman's first taste of GP2. He was seventh in his first FR3.5 season in 2010.

"Last year was my first year in World Series by Renault and I achieved several podiums and won," he said. "I approach GP2 with the same motivation and want to be on top with a very strong team."
