Q & A with Nico Rosberg

Nico Rosberg: It's been great - I've won both of them, and it couldn't be better. Going into the race today was very different for me - I was just relaxed, although I was a little worried that I was too relaxed! I felt I had a good car and was able to push really hard, and car was good on braking because we put on more downforce than we actually wanted to, and that helped a lot for the overtaking. Step by step I thought 'whoa, maybe I can win this thing', and then I was a bit worried when I was behind Viso because it was very difficult to take him. He was quite quick I think, and he was going well, but in the end I took my time and really watched what he was doing, and it worked out.

Q. It seemed like the other guys were really easy but Viso was really hard to get by - was that the case?

Rosberg: It was, yeah, although it was probably also because I changed down a gear as well, and I was very careful because I know him, so that made me even more careful! By the time I got to him the situation had changed, because now I had something to lose because I knew the win was mine, so things changed from having nothing to lose to 'whoa, I could win this.'

Q. You never thought about sitting back and being conservative?

Rosberg: What for? What do I need points for?

Q. How good is it to have won your final GP2 race?

Rosberg: It's been a great end to the season this weekend, and I couldn't have asked for more.
