Lopez Fastest at Ricard - Day One
Jose Maria Lopez was the fastest man on track on day one of the GP2 series test at Circuit Paul Ricard at the wheel of Nico Rosberg's championship winning ART Grand Prix car
Lopez's best time of 1:16.047 was half a second faster than Nelson Piquet Jr, who set the fastest time in the morning session only to be topped by his Argentinean rival later in the day.
Andreas Zuber was the fastest of the new drivers, setting a time of 1:16.899 with iSport International, just ahead of World Series by Renault champion Robert Kubica, who only ran for half a day with Durango.
Hiroki Yoshimoto rounded out the top five with DPR, just ahead of Adrian Valles in the Japanese driver's former team, BCN Competicion.
