Hockenheim test, day 2: Nordic one-two

Nordic Racing headed the time sheets after the second and final day of Formula 3000 testing at Hockenheim. Czech driver Tomas Enge edged team mate and points-leader Justin Wilson in a one-two for the Coca Cola-backed cars

Darren Manning had a more productive time than in the first day of the test and put his Arden Team Russia car third, just 0.07s behind Wilson and ahead of the Petrobras Junior Team cars of Ricardo Sperafico and Antonio Pizzonia.

Mark Webber, second in the points after victory in Monaco last weekend, was sixth.

"It's particularly competitive at the front," said the Aussie, "and it's going to be a particularly difficult ball game when it comes to the race here. We have a bit more work to do, but I'm quietly confident that come the race here, I'll be competitive."

The F3000 field has an extended break until its next race. The series skips a slot on the Canadian Grand Prix support bill, but gets back into action at the European GP on June 23.
