Hamilton quickest at wet Ricard
Briton Lewis Hamilton topped the timesheets in the final GP2 testing session of the year at Paul Ricard, before rain forced to call it a day prematurely
Hamilton, driving for the ART Grand Prix team, set the pace in the morning session from Nelson Piquet Jr, but an downpour and then a thick fog forced the test to be cancelled early for safety reasons.
Piquet was still fastest overall after setting the quickest time on Wednesday.
GP2 will take a break from testing until next year, when the first 26-car series test will take place.
They are expected to be back in action at Paul Ricard in late February.
