Ericsson ends Silverstone test on top
Marcus Ericsson finished on top of the times on the second and final day of this week's GP2 testing at Silverstone
On a much better day weather-wise, Ericsson's 1m40.154s lap was enough to set the benchmark, the iSport driver moving to the top in the afternoon session after having wound up third in the morning.
Racing Engineering's Christian Vietoris finished as second quickest, less than a tenth of Ericsson's pace, with the time set in the morning.
Lotus ART's Jules Bianchi was third fastest overall after another strong day, the Frenchman finishing in second in the morning session.
Spaniard Dani Clos in the second car from Racing Engineering was fourth fastest ahead of Charles Pic in the other iSport machine.
They day was interrupted by five red flags, the last one putting an end to the session a few minutes ahead of schedule.
The GP2 teams will be back in action at Barcelona on April 19 for the final pre-season test.
