Damon Hill to Test GP2 Car
Former World Champion Damon Hill is to test a GP2 car at Paul Ricard in France later this month as series organisers bid to get feedback from big name stars on their new Dallara chassis, claims a report in Motorsport News

Although there has been no official confirmation of Hill's participation in the test, due to take place on June 28, the 1996 title winner has told this week's Motorsport News that he is interested in the offer of a test in one of the cars.
"It is a while since I have been in a car like a GP2, but I would be interested to see what the cars are like," said Hill.
GP2 organisers have invited a number of drivers to the test, although they are not able to reveal their identity. Some of the drivers will take part because of their links to media outlets, who have been invited to cover the day's events.
Hill's participation in the test will not just be a bit of fun for him, however, because it will also help him get valuable insight into the category as he considers moving protege Steven Kane into the category in the next few years.
"I am not sure how useful I would be in terms of feedback because it has been so long since I have been in a modern car," added Hill.
Racing legend Stirling Moss is one driver, however, who has declined the offer of a test in the car.
"I have been contacted but I shan't drive the car," Moss told Motorsport News. "I don't think it would be a very wise thing for me."
