Zuber on Second Valencia Pole
Andreas Zuber became the fifth pole sitter in five races, after qualifying first for the World Series by Renault's second race at Valencia
The Carlin Motorsport driver bounced back from his disappointment of Monaco to lap the Spanish circuit in 1:21.252 seconds to take the top spot.
Zuber was one of a number of drivers excluded from Monaco after not slowing down sufficiently under yellow flags. The Austrian said: "Monaco was so disappointing but I made sure I slowed on the yellow flags this time. There was lots of traffic but I got a quick lap."
German Driver Markus Winklehock will line up on the front row, after topping the 'slower' session.
Frenchman Eric Salignon will start third for both races tomorrow after finishing runner-up in Zauber's 'faster' session. The Frenchman said: "I was only one tenth from pole and it was just good to match this morning's performance.
