Zolder, Estoril gain 2003 races
Zolder in Belgium and Estoril in Portugal will host Dallara Nissan World Series races in 2003, as the championship continues its drive to become truly pan-European
Only three of the nine rounds will be held in its native Spain this year. The Albacete circuit has been dropped from the schedule, while Valencia will host just one round instead of two to make way for Zolder and Estoril.
The season will start two months earlier than it did last year, but will come to an end in November rather than December. The Brazilian double-header at Curitiba and Interlagos will be run at the end of November, meaning a certain clash with the Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix.
Series organiser RPM Racing has also released more details of its revised 2-litre 'Lights' category. The ageing Coloni chassis will be replaced by a new bespoke Dallara, codenamed 01. RPM estimates that the car will be around four seconds quicker than its predecessor.
