British Formula 3 championship leader Will Buller will make his Formula Renault 3.5 debut for Zeta Corse at Moscow Raceway next weekend
The Italian team announced on Friday that Buller will take over the seat vacated by Carlos Sainz Jr, who raced in the last two rounds in Monaco and at Spa.
Buller, who is also 12th in the F3 European championship and has some FR3.5 testing experience with Comtec from 2012, will join the team's regular driver Mihai Marinescu - who sat out the Monaco round - for the Russian event.
Team manager Claudio Corradini said: "I've been following Will for a while and now that he was on the market, I'm happy he accepted our offer with enthusiasm.
"We will do our best to enable him to do well on his Formula Renault 3.5 debut."
AUTOSPORT understands that Sainz, who was a regular top 10 contender during his two weekends with the team, could return to the Zeta line-up later in the season.
