Valles could return to Renault series
Former Formula Renault 3.5 Series runner-up Adrian Valles is considering a return to the championship this year
The Spaniard, who finished second to Robert Kubica in the 2005 World Series by Renault, has carried out development work for Epsilon Euskadi in this week's Barcelona and Valencia tests, and could stay on for the season.
"There is a possibility I could be driving with Epsilon in the World Series," said Valles.
After his WSR season, Valles switched to GP2, and was also a Formula 1 test driver for Spyker in 2007.
Last year he joined Epsilon Euskadi's sportscar team, and won races for Liverpool in the Superleague Formula. He hopes to continue with both programmes this season.
"I think I should definitely be with Liverpool again in the Superleague Formula," Valles said.
"Last year I was with Epsilon in the Le Mans Series, and that car was getting stronger every race. Everyone is now working flat-out to prepare the new prototype for the Le Mans 24 Hours, hopefully I can be there."
The 22-year-old was only 13th in WSR testing at Valencia today after his running was interrupted by a gearbox failure.
