Kunimoto to join Epsilon for two races

Keisuke Kunimoto will join Epsilon Euskadi for the last two Formula Renault 3.5 rounds of the season

The 20-year-old Japanese driver, who won last year's Macau Grand Prix, will replace Spaniard Dani Clos in the team's line-up - alongside Chris van der Drift - at the Nurburging this weekend and at the season finale at the new Motorland Aragon circuit.

"I'm very happy to have my first contact with the World Series through such a great and professional team," said Kunimoto, who is racing in Formula Nippon in Japan this season. "They're working very hard on my FR3.5 programme.

"Epsilon's potential is unbelievable, the human and technological capabilities are extraordinary, opening plenty of opportunities for the future."

Epsilon Euskadi president Joan Villadelprat added: "We're very happy to have this talented and young driver in our team. Keisuke's results in F3 and his experience in Nippon this year should help him to quickly adapt to the World Series FR3.5 car.

"The team has prepared an exhaustive work plan and we're all doing our best to help Keisuke extract the most of his potential in these two meetings."
