Aurelien Panis inherits Spa pole after Matthieu Vaxiviere penalty
Frenchman Matthieu Vaxiviere has been relegated from pole position to last on the grid for Saturday afternoon's opening Formula V8 3.5 race at Spa-Francorchamps

A parc ferme infringement was committed by Vaxiviere's SMP Racing team following qualifying.
"It is not the best weekend for me, we have lost the pole and I think I have lost my job," said SMP Racing's respected team manager Simone Giglio.
"It was my misunderstanding, I heard that parc ferme was open, and I thought it was open for everyone. It was my mistake."
Vaxiviere's penalty promotes Arden racer Aurelien Panis to pole position ahead of team-mate Egor Orudzhev.
