Teams receive first GP3 cars
The 10 GP3 teams have taken delivery of their first new cars, ahead of the first test in March
The Dallara-built chassis will be joined by the turbocharged two-litre Renault engines, which the teams will collect at the end of this week.
The second batch of cars will be delivered at the beginning of next month, with the third arriving at the end of February. The first test takes place at Paul Ricard on March 3.
"The manufacturing of the first generation GP3 car is complete and on time, and I am confident that it will achieve the same level of quality competition
and reliability reached in GP2," said GP3 organiser Bruno Michel.
"We always kept in mind during the design process to produce a car that will offer great racing to the fans while keeping it affordable for the teams. It's also great to see that the 2010 grid is fast taking shape. A number of teams already have promising young drivers signed and one can only be impressed by their high-calibre."
