Qualifying 2: Kerr does it again

Robbie Kerr gave his championship hopes another boost by claiming pole position for the second of tomorrow's (Sunday) F3 races at Snetterton

Kerr was in supreme form, setting his 1m01.583s lap early on, which is three tenths quicker than he went in the first session. His nearest challenger from then, Fabio Carbone, suffered a nightmare session and was only 19th fastest, 0.7s off pole.

Carbone's Fortec team-mate Heikki Kovalainen took advantage, but missed out on the second slot on the front row to Scholarship polesitter Robert Dahlgren.

Bruce Jouanny starts fourth, ahead of the second Scholarship car of Clivio Piccione. Championship leader James Courtney, fifth earlier, was only 10th fastest this time.
