Pizzonia goes fastest at Donington
Antonio Pizzonia set the pace during the latest Formula 3 championship test at Donington Park
The Brazilian was pleased following Tuesday's test.
"My only problem today was the traffic," said Pizzonia.
"Because there was only one dry line, it was hard to overtake anyone as that was where the track was slippery.
"I am pleased with the way that the car is going, but I am trying not to think too far ahead yet, because there is a lot more development in me and the car."
Ben Collins was second fastest, his best showing of the pre-season tests, finishing the day just three-tenths slower than Pizzonia.
Collins' Carlin Motorsport Dallara was a further three-tenths up on Andy Priaulx, despite the reigning Renault Spider champion having three spins.
"At least it proves I am trying," joked Priulx.
"We found that the old tyres we were running was proving to be a problem, but new rubber has made all the difference."
Stewart Racing had a mixed day, with Tomas Scheckter fourth and his Indian team-mate Narain Karthikeyan suffering a broken Mugen-Honda engine.
Philip Hopkins headed the Scholarship Class, despite running on tyres from 1997! Class rival Gary Paffett suffered with an ECU problem, but ended the day third in class behind Japanese driver Atsushi Katsumata.
