Misano day 1: Klien sets the pace

The opening day of the second official test for the new Formula 3 Euroseries at Misano in Italy had a new face at the top of the times, as Formula Renault graduate Christian Klien set the pace in his Mucke Motorsport Dallara-Mercedes

Consistent Australian Ryan Briscoe was next up in his Prema Dallara-Opel, a couple of tenths behind Klien, with Bernhard Auinger getting on the pace with his Toyota-powered TME Racing entry to make it two Austrians in the top three.

Robert Kubica was next up for Prema, with Adria pacesetter Olivier Pla (ASM Dallara-Merc) and Andreas Zuber (Team Rosberg) rounding out the top six in his Dallara-Opel.

Testing continues tomorrow.
