Knockhill 2: James does it again

James Courtney put in a repeat performance of the first race at Knockhill to dominate the second in his Carlin Motorsport Dallara

The Australian led from lights to flag, with team-mate Michael Keohane and Promatecme's Bruce Jouanny following him home.

Front row starter Ronnie Bremer was unlucky not to finish third. Keohane broke the Manor driver's front wing at the first corner, leaving Bremer struggling throughout. But he held on to the podium place until the closing stages, only for a gearbox problme to rob him of a deserved result.

Behind the top runners, there was something of a crash-fest. The casualties included erstwhile championship leader Robbie Kerr, who was taken out by Fabio Carbone at the hairpin while lying fifth. With his two victories, Courtney has now taken over the lead of the series.
